It's been a while since our last update!

Lots of exciting things are starting to be put in motion you will get updates on in the coming weeks!

So two main this to start with for today:

Huge thanks again to the majority of you who have responded to this survey!👏

As promised, we wanted to share back some of the insight to thank you as it is probably of interest to everyone.

Seeing as you are leading innovators and early adopters from around the world it's quite unique insight! 🙌

To keep it simple, I'm just giving a rundown below (might do something nicer with less detail for a LI post soon):

👉️Invoice capture

  • Top OCR tools used:

    • Dext: 70%

    • Hubdoc: 55%

    • Apron: 11%

    • Autoentry: 9%

  • Autopubliush rates:

    • Average: 21% | Median: 11%

    • Highest: 90% | Lowest: 0%

    • 8 firms don't know or are unsure

    • Some teams lack the confidence in applying autopublish due to quality concerns and lack of functionality (i.e. representative descriptions, among others)

👉️Outsourced Finance

  • Offer it as a service: 92% of firms

  • Offer it to 70-100% of their client base: 32% of firms

  • Offer it to under 5% of their client base: 17% of firms

  • Want to offer it to more clients: 80% of firms

  • Main reasons for focus on this service line:

    • Stickiness of relationships

    • High-value work, more profitable

    • More enjoyable to deliver

    • Higher impact

Lots more insight of course that is incredibly valuable to those startups but hopefully some interesting highlights there!

I'm currently focusing on the EAH community to see how we can do better and ensure you are all finding value for your time and involvement with EAH (merch run is on my list as part of that I promise!)

Best starting point is always to hear more from you!

So here is our member survey, it would be amazing to get as many responses as possible! Whether you've been with us for 4+ years or just recently joined, you've worked with 20+ startups or haven't worked with your first, all feedback is precious and appreciated to ensure we keep going in the right direction.

Should only take 5-10 minutes to complete (and actually the last such survey was in Dec 2022 😲)

⏺️ Fathom AI notetaker

This is a very small update just to let you all know that after reviewing a few different AI notetakers we have decided to adopt Fathom AI (@Ben Swanson can always provide more insight into the comparison we did on this if you are curious).

That means when you join an EAH session the AI will be recording from the beginning so do raise it if that's an issue when you join!
