EAH Slack Wrap-Up - 18 Aug '23

Covering all the highlights and upcoming events from within EAH

Hey Community ๐Ÿ‘‹

Happy Friday! Just touching base with a quick #newsletter update for you!

๐Ÿ– EAH Startup Roast

Massive thank you to everyone who showed up and tuned in to the first ever Startup Roast yesterday! To be completely honest, this has probably saved these founders a few months -- and given them more honest + constructive feedback than they'd be able to get elsewhere. So well done everyone

For those who didn't make it, here is a link to the recording if you're keen to check it out!

๐Ÿš€ Startups Update & Thank You for the Referrals

Some good news on the startup front. Things seem to be turning back to where they were ~12 months ago, we're having regular conversations with startups + founders.

Still more work to do, but fingers crossed we should have a few more to present in the later part of the year.

And once again, a huge huge thank you to everyone who keeps referring startups our way ๐Ÿ™

It means so much to us, but it also helps speed up the conversation. When a startup is referred to us by you guys, they come so much more receptive to the idea, and keen to get involved. If you ever speak to an early startup, or they reach out to you directly, never hesitate to shoot them our way -- we're more than happy to do the due diligence and vet them on your behalf.

๐Ÿ’™ Xerocon AU/NZ Event

A final reminder for everybody heading to Xerocon next week. Come along for the Early Adopters Hub shindig on Tuesday the 22nd before Ignition's precon -- should be a bunch of fun!

If you need an invite and don't have one, just let me know!

โœˆ Jackโ€™s Going on Holiday

Just keeping you guys in the loop, I'm headed away for majority of September... might be hard to reach during that time.

Going on a little European adventure, with of course a stopover in London to see a bunch of you #uk-adopters -- cannot wait!!

Also - If anyone happens to be at Oktoberfest on September 27th, come along and celebrate with @Liam McNamara and I ๐Ÿบ

P.s. Any tips for Paris, Dijon, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich or London feel free to hit me up. Thanks @Paul Murray for already covering the Italian portion of the trip ๐Ÿ•
