Excited to start 2024 with the first newsletter update with some big news!

🚨 Welcome @Ben Swanson, joining EAH as Head of UK 📣 

I'm super excited to officially welcome onboard Ben 🎉

I got to know Ben over the last 1.5 years, and he was a great sounding board behind the scenes providing incisive input into the EAH journey.

In the last few months, we started working together in a more structured capacity as he was consulting EAH on putting the investment piece together.

I've since got to work closely with Ben and experienced first-hand that his skillset and mindset are perfect for the next evolution of EAH. 🚀

🚀 Upcoming startup cohort

Most of our long-term startups in both the UK and Australia are mostly on pause as they develop their products (and almost always hitting unexpected blockers there 😅) but we are continuing to evaluate startups suitable for our usual offering.

There are currently several startups in the later stages of evaluation (one confirmed to go ahead), I'm hoping to present next week.

So expect some new startups to be involved with soon!

ℹ️ General update

Other than that, a lot of work going on in the background as we adapt to Jack's departure, my taking over of AU/NZ and Ben's onboarding to take over the UK from me in the coming months.

The investment piece is where we have also been putting a lot of our time and effort, so some exciting updates there soon for those who have been involved on that front!

So that's it, hope everyone is having an awesome start to 2024, with those in the UK surviving another tax season (if not skiing right now!).

Looking forward to getting back into full gear and what awaits in the coming months!
