EAH Slack Wrap-Up - 8 Dec '23

Covering all the highlights and upcoming events from within EAH

Hey Community ๐Ÿ‘‹

I have some big news to share with you all...

๐Ÿš€ 2024 will signal the beginning of Early Adopters Hub next evolution... but it will be happening without me (Jack).

Following months of thought, I've decided that the best thing for me and my family is to step away from my role at EAH.

I have loved every minute of the past two years, but as you all know - business is hard, and generating cash from early-stage startups is even harder - and for me, with some life milestones coming up quite quickly, I need a little more stability in my life.

Of course, it isn't just as simple as that which is why I wanted to share this short video with you all ๐Ÿ“บ๏ธ

This covers everything I want to share with each and everyone of you, so if you can find the time to have a listen that would be greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ™

๐Ÿงฎ What does that mean for EAH?

As I mentioned in my loom above, despite the challenge of making cash from early-stage startups (which most people felt was impossible), we have made it happen!

But we both agree that for EAH to flourish long-term the business needs to begin accepting equity in lieu of fees, to ensure we get access to the huge upside of the startups we're helping to build...

This is a huge opportunity, and it's why Yohan has been hard at work speaking with many of you about EAH's future investment opportunities.

Behind the scenes, Yohan has also earmarked a potential new team member, who is UK-based, and brings skills and experience that are relevant to this next chapter.

Yohan has put together some of his own words here in this loom to talk you through the next step for the business, and what is coming in 2024!

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ Any questions regarding either message above, please feel free to shoot us a DM.

Looking ahead to the end of the year, we are both excited to have some rest, enjoy the Aussie summer and come back refreshed to take 2024 by the horns!!

We're both fortunate to be working in this industry, with amazing people like you every single day. That's why I made sure that if I was going to leave EAH I wasn't going to be going far.

I will announce my next move in the new year, but if you're desperate to know feel free to reach out. And as a bit of a hint, I'll be headed to London for a few weeks in January (leaving that beautiful Aussie summer behind) โœˆ๏ธ:rain_cloud:

Thank you once again for everything EAH family - You've made me feel part of a close-knit team, even if I have been working home alone pretty much everyday ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm so glad to now call many of you friends and I'm thankful Yohan has bent a few rules to allow me to stay apart of the community, so I'll still be around and will do my best to drop into any in-person events that I can.

๐Ÿ™ Thanks again for everything!

Cheers, Jack โœŒ๏ธ
